Women's Chamber of Commerce

Miami-Dade County’s first Women’s Chamber of Commerce was established in 1984 by Mrs. Thelma Gibson with the belief that business women of all races and nationalities should have a forum where they could gain momentum, express their thoughts, and come together as one voice to be heard by all throughout the County.

In 1984, the Chamber had 21 members. Today hundreds of women and men have become part of the Chamber, making it one of the the fastest growing women’s professional organizations in Miami-Dade County.

Exciting business impact luncheons are held each month, and evening networking socials and other venues are offered to expand business networks.

In addition to these benefits, the WCC supports community service projects impacting women in Miami Dade County and supports young women through mentoring and education.
